At this time, many of the Pennsylvania Room’s resources are only available onsite. While copies of some records may be ordered from a distance, more in-depth research will likely require a visit.
Those who have a Uniontown Public Library card, a Washington & Greene Greater Information Network (WAGGIN) card, or an Access PA library card from elsewhere in the state have free access to the Pennsylvania Room.
If you are from out of state and/or do not possess a card from a participating library, it will cost $5.00 to use the room for the day.
Additional costs to consider are the copying machine fee (15 cents/page) and the microfilm printer fee (50 cents/page).
Please see the sidebar for the hours and upcoming closings. While the Pennsylvania Room typically follows the operating hours of the Uniontown Public Library, circumstances occasionally arise when the room might close early or be shut down for the day.
Free parking is available behind the library just off Jefferson Street. If this lot happens to be full, metered parking is available in front of the library on East Church Street.
